Last week, I announced to our music director of the DSO that I intended to retire at the end of this present season. He was extremely surprised but also very supportive and asked that I play his last concert in June, 2018. I accepted that invitation with pleasure as the music making during the years with him have been phenomenal!
It has been an incredible honor to lead the section for these 37 years and contribute to creating beauty in a world that is torn apart. I just have felt for several months that it was time to
Move forward! My husband ( of 32 years) and I want to do more travel and I want to give him weekends, something he has not had all of these years together! We love to entertain and this will be a joy for us together!!!
